METC 107 Mechanical Design & Documentation

This course introduces the student to the fundamental skills necessary to take a design from concept to implementation via virtual modeling and the creation of working mechanical drawings. Utilizing both traditional and contemporary tools, students will study visualization, established technical drawing techniques, CADD-based design, and characteristic standards to produce mechanical designs and drawings that can be readily and successfully shared with production organizations to create accurate parts and assemblies.
